The Rakes sono una band post‑punk revival londinese formata nel 2003, con Alan Donohoe alla voce, Jamie Hornsmith al basso, Matthew Swinnerton alla chitarra e Lasse Petersen alla batteria. Hanno pubblicato gli album Capture/Release (2005), Ten New Messages (2007) e Klang (2009) prima di sciogliersi nel 2009.
