 Dopo aver dato tutto al punk-rock e nuova linfa vitale, assieme agli inossidabili Radio Birdman, al rock australiano, la formazione originale dei Saints si sciolse ufficialmente nel '79.

 Posso solo ringraziare questi Santi d’Australia giunti alle mie orecchie per rinnovare la liturgia del rock’n’roll.

The Saints sono un gruppo punk rock australiano formato a Brisbane nel 1973 da Chris Bailey, Ed Kuepper e Ivor Hay. Con (I'm) Stranded e poi Eternally Yours hanno segnato l’era del 1977, fondendo furia garage, R&B e richiami alla Detroit dei primi ’70.
