Thin Lizzy sono una band hard rock irlandese formatasi a Dublino nel 1969 attorno a Phil Lynott (voce/basso) e Brian Downey (batteria). Celebri per le twin guitars e per il mix tra hard rock e suggestioni celtiche, hanno firmato classici come The Boys Are Back in Town e Jailbreak. Si sciolgono dopo il tour del 1983; Lynott muore nel 1986.
