I Thompson Twins sono un gruppo pop/new wave britannico emerso a inizio anni ’80 con una serie di successi synth-pop. La formazione più nota è il trio Tom Bailey, Alannah Currie e Joe Leeway; apice commerciale con Into the Gap (1984) e hit come Hold Me Now, Doctor! Doctor! e You Take Me Up. Attivi fino al 1993.
