Akercocke sono una band inglese di Londra, formata nel 1997 da Jason Mendonça e David Gray. Noti per un blackened death metal ambizioso che mescola elementi progressive, gothic ed elettronici, hanno pubblicato album di culto come Choronzon (2003), Words That Go Unspoken, Deeds That Go Undone (2005) e Antichrist (2007). Dopo una pausa nel 2012, sono tornati attivi dal 2016 pubblicando Renaissance In Extremis (2017).
