Colosseum

Colosseum è un gruppo jazz rock/prog britannico fondato a Londra nel 1968 dal batterista Jon Hiseman con Dave Greenslade, Dick Heckstall-Smith e Tony Reeves. Ha pubblicato classici come Those Who Are About to Die Salute You (1969), Valentyne Suite (1969, primo LP della Vertigo) e Daughter of Time (1970), oltre al celebrato Colosseum Live (1971). Riformatisi nel 1994 con Chris Farlowe e Clem Clempson, hanno dato alle stampe Bread & Circuses (1997), Tomorrow’s Blues (2003) e altro materiale dal vivo.
