When 'Jardim Elétrico' was out (1971) the world of music was changing. The dreamy and experimental sixties psychedelia era was in practice come to an end and so also Os Mutantes changed and evolved their sound. The album it is much less experimental and unpredictable than the previously releases and it sounds some way more 'institutional' so than you could collocate it in what it could actually be defined a pop-rock seventies genre categorie. 'Tecnicolor', 'Benvinda', 'Lady, Lady' are probably the best episodes of the album. 'Virginia' is still influenced by the Sgt Pepper's Beatles, while 'Saravà' and the title-track are in practice episodes of acid progressive music. It remains there and there the tropicalist background of the band, for example in 'Baby', but we're distant from the crazy and kaleidoscopic psychedelia of the first two albums. di più

He studies Economy at University and he and his friends are part of a quizzing team that will try to win the all-India finals challenges. At the same time he is also looking to figure out about his own life and in particular 'bout his approach with girls. Behind a mask of appearent arrogange, Namah is ensicure and not capable to get out of all the conditioning cultural limits the society gave him and also when he seems to be on the point, in the end he always is going to be fucked up. A very good fine comedy directed by Qaushiq Mukherjee and shown at the 2016 Sundance Festival in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition section. Brilliant, ironic, piecewise in forms which reminds to comic strips and with a very good soundtrack. di più

Almeno due album capolavoro a metà degli anni 2000: Brother, Sister e soprattutto Catch For Us The Foxes, disco meraviglioso e seminale che ha dato tantissimo alla scena.
Ad oggi lavorano -forse con un po' di manierismo- sui loro punti di forza, continuando a sfornare album niente male.
