Eva Cassidy (1963–1996) è stata una cantante statunitense capace di attraversare folk, jazz, blues, soul e gospel con una voce duttile e intensa. Scomparsa per melanoma a 33 anni, ha raggiunto fama internazionale postuma a inizio anni 2000 grazie a raccolte e performance dal vivo.
