Fields of the Nephilim sono una band gothic rock britannica formata a Stevenage nel 1984. Guidati dal cantante Carl McCoy, sono noti per l’immaginario western/polveroso, tematiche occulte e un suono epico e visionario. Tra i lavori più rilevanti: Dawnrazor (1987), The Nephilim (1988), Elizium (1990), il live Earth Inferno (1991) e il ritorno con Mourning Sun (2005). La formazione classica comprende Carl McCoy (voce), Tony Pettitt (basso), Peter Yates e Paul Wright (chitarre), Nod Wright (batteria).
