 Preferisco assai questa Joni Mitchell matura, sfiatata e limitata ma sexy, a quella specie di usignolo esagerato di quand’era ragazza.

 I toni bassi e sibilanti di quest’anzianotta Mitchell, il suo fraseggio secco e talvolta quasi verbale, le sfumature infinite della sua gola, sono un toccasana per il mio gusto.

Roberta Joan "Joni" Mitchell (nata 1943) è una cantautrice canadese, nota anche come pittrice. Divenuta celebre negli anni '60 e '70, ha attraversato fasi dal folk acustico al jazz-fusion collaborando con musicisti come Jaco Pastorius, Wayne Shorter e Herbie Hancock.
