Screaming Trees

Screaming Trees sono una band rock statunitense nata a Ellensburg (Washington) nel 1984, con Mark Lanegan alla voce e i fratelli Gary Lee (chitarra) e Van Conner (basso), inizialmente con Mark Pickerel alla batteria e poi Barrett Martin. Tra i pionieri della stagione grunge, hanno unito garage-psych, punk e hard rock: dagli esordi su SST a Sweet Oblivion (1992) e Dust (1996) su Epic, con “Nearly Lost You” come brano più noto. Si sono sciolti nel 2000.
