I Free sono una band britannica formata a Londra nel 1968 da Paul Rodgers (voce), Paul Kossoff (chitarra), Andy Fraser (basso) e Simon Kirke (batteria). Autori del classico All Right Now (1970), hanno definito un blues rock essenziale e potente. Attivi fino al 1973, con breve scioglimento e reunion intermedia, hanno lasciato album cardine come Fire and Water, Free, Highway e Heartbreaker.
