Mercury Rev

Mercury Rev è una band statunitense nata a Buffalo (NY) alla fine degli anni ’80, guidata da Jonathan Donahue e Sean “Grasshopper” Mackowiak. Dagli esordi rumoristi e psichedelici (Yerself Is Steam, Boces) ha virato verso un pop orchestrale e sognante con Deserter’s Songs (1998) e All Is Dream (2001), collaborando a lungo con il produttore Dave Fridmann, per poi esplorare innesti elettronici.
