Muddy Waters

Nato nel Mississippi nel 1913, registrato da Alan Lomax nel 1941, si trasferì a Chicago nei primi anni ’40 entrando alla Chess Records. Con la sua chitarra elettrica e una band formidabile (tra cui Otis Spann e James Cotton) ha definito il Chicago blues, influenzando profondamente il rock britannico. È morto nel 1983.
