Nektar è una band progressive/space rock inglese formatasi ad Amburgo nel 1969. La formazione classica comprende Roye Albrighton, Allan “Taff” Freeman, Derek “Mo” Moore e Ron Howden. Attivi tra il 1969 e il 1980 e nuovamente dal 2000, hanno unito sensibilità prog britannica e suggestioni della scena tedesca.
