Cantante e songwriter britannico, Robert Palmer ha iniziato la carriera solista nel 1974 dopo Dada e Vinegar Joe. Tra blue‑eyed soul, rock e incursioni new wave/elettroniche, ha firmato hit come Addicted to Love nell’era MTV ed è stato membro dei Power Station. È scomparso nel 2003.
