Bellissima e tremendamente dolce la storiella folk dello spaventapasseri nero e verde, che si muove solo col vento facendo cadere i topolini. Questa è la storia, questa è la psichedelia, questo è il capolavoro, e voi dovreste saperlo. Ho una bicicletta, se vuoi puoi farci un giro, ha il campanello, il cestino; ho uno strano cappotto rosso e bianco, lo tengo da mesi, e conosco un topolino che non ha casa, non so perché lo chiamo Gerald, è vecchiotto ma simpatico, conosco una stanza piena piena di suoni musicali, alcuni ritmici, alcuni tintinnano ma molti sono meccanci ed è la stanza del pifferaio alle porte dell'alba che ha cantato una canzone lunga un'ora. Stiamo parlando dei britannici Pink Floyd... ebbene sì, già dal primo disco si capisce quello che avrebbero fatto in futuro.
Disco eccellente, che si discosta un po' dal sound tipico dei Pink Floyd ma che è ugualmente un colosso della storia della musica.

I primi pink floyd sono riusciti a sintetizzare in una visione unica e inimitabile gli impulsi provenienti dall'acid rock westcoastiano, l'interesse per le forme musicali libere e improvvisate e l'amore per il fiabesco più autenticamente inglese.
Al genere proposto non ho saputo dirvi quale, perché i pink non hanno uno stile a sé.. Ma sono un misto di più generi... Forse è questo che li rende così grandi...
