CIAO Sono qui per parlarvi dei Queen, e piu precisamente di Queen II, il secondo album pubblicato dalla leggendaria band di Freddie. Queen II si presenta come un'album dal rock molto duro, ma allo stesso tempo con melodie dolci che solo Freddie riusciva a fare grazie alla sua voce piu unica che rara, ma anche alla sua interpretazione magistrale! Eh sì non penso di dire una cavolata se dico che Freddie è stato ed è ancora il 90% del successo dellla band, perche i Queen senza Freddie non sarebbero mai entrati nella storia mentre Freddie senza i Queen si, questo non perche may-taylor e deacon non sono bravi,tuttaltro, ma solo perche considero Freddie Mercury un cantante dalle doti insuperabili e da un bagagliaio tecnico che sfiorano il soprannaturale, se pensiamo che lui ha cantato: METAL-HARD ROCK-GLAM ROCK-ROCK-POP-JAZZ-COUNTRY-DISCO, E addirittura e addirittura si è potuto permettere di registrare un'album in duetto con M.CABALLE' dove Freddie diventa un tenore a tutti gli effetti.(e qui io mi inchino) Detto questo ritengo i Queen la band piu geniale che la terra ha potuto conoscere.
Ritorniamo all'album: Queen II è composto da undici brani di cui un 50% di esse presentano testi molto cupi (diciamo che sono le canzoni piu cattive e dove il male la fa da padrona) e queste sono firmate Freddie, mentre l'altra meta' sono brani piu dolci e dove il bene trionfa,firmati Brian. L'opera piu significativa è sicuramente "The march of black Queen" una canzone dalla durata di quasi sette minuti(allora un record) assolutamente delirante, dove si passa da ritmo musicale-vocale all'altro in pochi secondi, dove si trovano raffinate sovrincisioni vocali e dove la chitarra di May graffia che quasi fa male!!.(a mio avviso questa song è la piu bella della storia del rock!!) Ragazzi se volete ascoltare un po di vera musica hard-rock bene Queen II non vi deluderà.
CONTROIDICAZIONI: Può causare dipendenza!! Quindi uso moderato!!

Descrivere con una misera recensione questo capolavoro è davvero riduttivo, ma cercherò di essere il più intenso possibile.
Il capolavoro dei Queen, canzone poco conosciuta ma forse paragonabile solo alla grandissima Bohemian Rhapsody.
