Ha raggiunto fama mondiale tra fine anni ’80 e inizio ’90 con singoli come The Look, Listen to Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love e Joyride. L’attività dal vivo si è interrotta per i problemi di salute di Fredriksson; Marie è scomparsa nel 2019.
