Shocking Blue, formazione olandese nata nel 1967 all'Aja, raggiunse il successo internazionale con il singolo "Venus" (1969). La cantante Mariska Veres e il chitarrista e autore Robbie van Leeuwen sono tra i membri più noti. Il gruppo si sciolse nel 1974; Veres è deceduta nel 2006.
