Solomon Burke

Solomon Burke (1940–2010) è stato un cantante soul e predicatore statunitense, soprannominato “King of Rock ’n’ Soul”. Attivo dalla seconda metà degli anni ’50, ha inciso classici come Cry to Me, Everybody Needs Somebody to Love e Got to Get You Off My Mind. Nel 2002 è tornato alla ribalta con Don't Give Up on Me, album che gli ha valso un Grammy nel 2003.
