Autori di hit come California Dreamin’ e Monday, Monday (Grammy 1967), hanno definito il sunshine pop con armonie vocali raffinatissime. Chiusero il Monterey International Pop Festival nel 1967. Attivi principalmente tra il 1965 e il 1968, pubblicarono un ultimo album di reunion nel 1971 (People Like Us).
