Low-Fi tedesco di ottimo livello per i Lali Puna di Monaco di Baviera. Elettronica minimalista à la 'Stereolab', 'Yo La Tengo' o 'Mouse on Mars', che conquista.
Fa sorridere il marcato accento tedesco nel cantare in inglese, fa pensare quasi ad un effetto voluto.
Atmosfere cupe, ci si immagina tipo Berlino Est, luci colorate e lampade mathmos.
Più che un disco sembra un percorso mnemonico in ricordi vicini e lontani insieme. Quando ci si sforza di ricordare luoghi e persone.
Segnalo "Nin-Com-Pop" con base ritmica casio tipo "da-da-da" dei Trio, il ritmo sincopato della splendida "Middle Curse", e "Don't think" che mi ricorda i Visage di "Fade to Grey".
Un grande disco che non può mancare alla vostra collezione.
