MGMT è un duo statunitense formato da Andrew VanWyngarden e Ben Goldwasser, nato alla Wesleyan University nel 2002. Dopo il successo globale di Oracular Spectacular con i singoli Time to Pretend, Kids ed Electric Feel, hanno virato verso territori più psichedelici con Congratulations e sperimentato con l’omonimo del 2013. Con Little Dark Age (2018) sono tornati a un pop dal gusto 80s, mentre Loss of Life (2024) ne mostra la maturità autoriale.
