 Proseguendo quello che a fine anni ’80 era stato il de-basing da parte dei Pixies, e il de-constructing da parte dei Sonic Youth, i Pavement sono stati probabilmente il gruppo che negli anni ’90 ha segnato la scena indie nella maniera più incisiva.

 Sono scazzati, acerbi, ‘slacker’; eppure incredibilmente trascinanti.
