Warlord è una band epic metal statunitense nata a Los Angeles e guidata da William J. Tsamis e Mark Zonder. Ha definito un’estetica lirica e marziale con l’EP Deliver Us (1983) e l’album And the Cannons of Destruction Have Begun (1984), è tornata con Rising Out of the Ashes (2002) e con The Holy Empire (2013).

Formati a Los Angeles nei primi anni ’80 da William J. Tsamis (chitarre) e Mark Zonder (batteria). Brani simbolo spesso citati: Black Mass, Child of the Damned, Lucifer’s Hammer, Deliver Us from Evil. In formazione storica compaiono i vocalist con lo pseudonimo Damien King (I, II).
